The workshop for Early Career Investigators (ECIs) and Short Term Scientific Missions (STSM) will be held on University of Latvia in Riga, March 7th.
The workshop is targeted to Early Stage Researchers (i.e. Master’s students, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows less than years from deference) from across Europe, which are requested to present a poster and pitch. ECIs get the travel costs covered based on COST Vademecum.

- What, why and how to STSMs for AMiCI. An overview on current situation by AMiCI Action STSMs Coordinator
- Presentations of cases by STSMs participants
- STSM & poster presentations
- “Obstacles and opportunities on development for antimicrobial coatings” , the lecture by a Scientist
- “Obstacles and opportunities on development for antimicrobial coatings” , the lecture by a Company Representative
- Discussion on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and treats of ECI within work for antimicrobial coatings
- STSM & poster presentations
- Interactive and Virtual Poster Session
